Infinitive Group attends two fantastic Golf Days

Here at Infinitive Group we’ve had the honour and privilege to support two great golf days over the last two weeks.

CG5 hosted an amazing day raising money to provide young people opportunities to fulfil their potential through sport. A big well done to Steve Edwards and the team at CG5.

TfW held a great inclusive day of golf for the railway industry, it was a difficult week for all in rail industry this week with the sad loss of two of our Network Rail colleagues who were remembered on the day. We also did some fundraising for #RailwayChildren and raised a proud sum to donate to them. A huge well done to Richard Pierce.

Infinitive Group present to the Rail Innovation Group

Infinitive Group are founding members of the Rail Innovation Group, and we’re frequent attendees at their monthly events. This month it was our turn to present to the group, and in true Infinitive Group fashion we gave a very well received presentation about our use of Data insights to provide useful information about asset health.

We had a great evening as always and we’re looking forward to the next meeting!

Parliamentary Reception with High Speed Rail Industry Leaders and the Rail Innovation Group

We were at Parliament today with @railleaders to recognise the benefits of @hs2ltd to supporting growth!

We were with @ethos_farm@transportingcities representing the views of #railinnovate community.

We’d like to extend a big thanks for the invitation to both High Speed Rail Industry Leaders and the Rail Innovation Group. We’d also like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all of the MP’s and other speakers who gave their time to come and meet with us to discuss the importance of improving high speed rail links in the UK.

Infinitive Group visits Innotrans 2018!

Well, what can we say! It’s been another fantastic trip over to Berlin for Innotrans 2018. Unfortunately, Chris couldn’t make it this year so it was left to Adam, Ben and one of our associates (Adam Stead) to undertake the (not at all) arduous trip!

As with previous years, the scale of the show is virtually unparalleled. If you haven’t attended before, the sheer volume of suppliers and products on display will quite simply blow you away; there are full scale trains, loco’s, railway engines, signalling systems, seat bays, and everything else you can imagine that’s railway related. To give an example of the scale of the show, Adam walked 14 miles on the first day and didn’t manage to make it around all of the stands!

As Innotrans is of such an intimidating size and some of our team were time-limited, we had to prioritise some meetings and supplier visits; but there was still time for Ben to attend a dinner with Chris Grayling (the secretary of state for transport), and for all of us to enjoy the beautiful sites that Berlin has to offer.

All in all, it was a fantastic trip to a brilliant conference and we’re looking forward to attending in 2 years’ time!

Infinitive Group Charity Golf Day 2018

We are holding a Charity Golf Day at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club on the Aylesford Resort Course on the 23rd May 2018. We have now secured a brand new Subaru Impreza valued at £25k as the main hole in one prize!

The Golf day is being held to help raise funds and awareness for “Railway Children” a charity that helps vulnerable children living on the streets.

Let us know if you are interested in attending and please feel free to Share!
