Asset Condition Measurement
Collecting asset condition data creates a historic profile of the assets performance. There are various means of collecting system and asset condition data from asset system monitoring, maintenance staff and the general public. We work closely with our customers to establish which information is key to their business so we can establish what data needs to be captured and processed through our systems.
In addition to asset condition data we monitor manually recorded maintenance intervention data, which include fault diagnostics, parts replacement planned maintenance carried out.
All asset and business data harvested is securely stored in either customer’s servers or within our cloud based server facilities. How we store the raw data is tailored according to our customer’s needs and the volume of data being generated.
This where the clever stuff is done, historic data is processed to identify trends and paterns which allows our systems to learn and provide recommendations of looming system failures and required maintenance interventions.
The control centre is generally within customers operation, where informed action is taken on generated alerts and alarms minimising services disruptions and assuring asset safety and performance.
All informed actions or interventions required are captured within our customers asset management system. This can either be automated or process manually by Control Centre staff
Reporting & Analysis
In addition to support with the day-to-day operation through the Control Centre, the asset data is visualised through our reporting & analytic tools for managers to engineers according to what is important to their needs.
This provides the foundation of our model, with the specialist knowledge of our engineering consultants working in close collaboration with customers this enables us to clearly and concisely establish the “as is process”, once we understand how today is working we can start to identify improvement opportunities in both asset performance and maintenance. Although we are engineers at heart we understand that the most important aspect of any business is people and processes that drive their behaviours.
